Hi Chet, Yes Swedish names are a little different. Traditionally women kept their own last name even after marriage. This changed during the 1800s with women adopting the husbands family name after marriage.

I do not know Swedish marriage naming conventions but if she married Fredric Pehrsson Granberg, I believe her "current last name" should be "Granberg". Or am I missing something?
