Biography
Gloria was born in 1926. She was the daughter of Josph Dryden Stanard and Jessie Clark Strode.
On 14 Feb 1948, Gloria married Collis Bosworth.[1]
Gloria passed away in 2014 and is buried in Johnson County Chapel and Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas.[2]

- LORIA HOPE BOSWORTH, 88, of Overland Park, KS met her Savior October 18, 2014. Visitation is 6-8 pm Wednesday, Oct 22, at Charter Funerals, 10250 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Merriam, KS. Memorial is 10:30 am Thursday Oct 23rd at Westside Family Church 8500 Woodsonia Dr, Lenexa, KS. Graveside at Johnson Co. Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf, OP, KS.
- Gloria is survived by 3 daughters & 3 sons: Rick Bosworth (Deb), Dixie Uhl (Mike), Collis Bosworth III (Donna), Kathy Behm (Howard), John Bosworth (Marla), Debbie Tucker (Bryan); son-in-law Greg Millard, 28 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
- She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 yrs, Collis Bosworth, Jr, and daughter Cindy Millard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
- Gloria was the daughter of Joseph & Jesse Stanard of Excelsior Springs, MO. She worked for Beta Sigma Phi, IRS, AVON, & raised 7 children in Prairie Village, KS. She supported Collis as NALC President, aided in publishing the monthly newsletter, and was active in the NALC Ladies Auxiliary. She loved children, family and gardening. Her sweet spirit and spunky sense of humor was loved by all.
