Captain Nicholas Staats served with 4th Regiment, Albany County Militia, New York Militia during the American Revolution.

He was born, 26 Sep 1743, in Albany, County, New York. He is a son of Jochem Staats and Elizabeth Schuyler [1][2]

Christening

He was baptized October 2, 1743, in The Reformed Dutch Church of Albany, New York.[1][3]

Marriage

Nicholas Staats and Maria Salisbury applied for a Marriage License, 24 Aug 1679, in New York[4]

Nicholas died, 7 May 1816 and was buried in Schodack Island Cemetery, Schodack, New York. [2]
