Harry Spring was born around 1856 in Lincolnshire, England, the son of Mary Spring and Thomas Spring.[1][2][3][4]
At the time of the 1871 England Census he was living in St Martin, Lincolnshire with his parents and siblings.[2] He was employed as a currier (a leather processing specialist), like his father.[2]
He married Emma Paterson in 1876 in Lancashire, England.[3][5] Their children were:[3]
