Jean Marion Spring (married name Tom) was born in 1922 in Romsey, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Ellie Hamilton (Buchanan) Spring and Jim Spring.[1][2][3]
She married William Ernest Tom in 1946 in Victoria.[4][5] Their children were:[2]
William died in January 1982.[6]
Jean was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in January 1993.[3]
Jean died on 28 May 2017, aged 94 years.[2]
