Irving George Spencer was born on December 24, 1878 in Emerson, Weldford, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada, son of Thomas Spencer (1842–1908).
Irving (23) married Gertrude Flora Beers (16) (born on August 1, 1885 in Emerson; daughter of Herbert Lester Beers and Euphemia Ann (Morton) Beers) on May 19, 1902 in Kent.
Irving died on June 19, 1966 in Rexton, Kent, aged 87. He was buried in Gospel Hall Emerson Road Cemetery, Harcourt, Kent County, New Brunswick.[1]
