Job 1722-1800 had a son Elipaz Spencer born 1752, whose son Gordon P. Spencer became a doctor: Dr. Gordon P. Spencer born 1789 Salisbury, CT died 1859 Watertown, Jefferson, NY, was highly regarded in Jefferson County, he was famous, his contributions are recorded in old newspapers at www.nnyln.org. The four Spencer brothers had descendants come to Northern, New York, a place where exalted rulers once lived. Dr. John Spencer 1780-1855 descends from Thomas Spencer 1607, Dr. John Spencer's legacy is in Gouverneur, St Lawrence, NY.
