Biography

Isaac was born on March 6, 1781 in Bradley, Penobscot County, Province (now State) of Maine. He was the son of Isaac and Lucy (Patten) Spencer.

Isaac married Lucy Hathorn (aka Hathorn). The death record for their son George includes parents' names (Isaac Spencer and Lucy Hathorn) and his place of birth (Veazie). Isaac and Lucy resided in Veazie, Penobscot County, Maine, where their children were born.

Isaac passed away at age 69 on August 22, 1850 in Bangor, Maine, where per the 1850 Fed. Census he was living with his son Reuben. Isaac is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Veazie (Plot: Div 1, Lot 5, Plot 2).
