Charles Edward Spencer was born about 1831 in Connecticut.[1][2]
Charles E Spencer married Harriett Haskell. They are listed as parents in the marriage record of their son Frank W Spencer in Connecticut in 1910.[3]
In the 1870 United States census, there is a Connecticut record for family of Edwin C Spencer, born about 1831/32 in Connecticut, his wife Harriett Spencer, born about 1836 in Connecticut, and their children Ida M Spencer (born about 1864) and Frank W Spencer (born about 1869).[2]
Note: The original profile listed the marriage to Harriet as 1 June 1798 in Bristol, Hartford, Connecticut; no source provided. This is physically impossible, so has been deleted. No source was found in brief check of Family Search. A date of around 1860 would be plausible based on birth of first child.
