Lutera (Terea) married Thomas Junior Stone on the 23rd of December, 1900, in Shelby County, Alabama.[2]
Lutera appears in the 1910 Federal Census in Shelby County, Alabama in the household of her husband. Tommie's household appears as follows: Thomas age 36; Tera age 24; Ervin age 8; Clarence age 6; Willie age 5; Ruba age 3; and Elzie age 1.[3]
Lutera and Tommie's daughter Jewel Stone, who was born in 1912, died the 16th of October 1914, and was buried in the Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery, in Shelby County, Alabama.[4]
Lutera appears in the 1920 Federal census in Shelby County, Alabama in the household of her husband. Tommie's household appears as follows: Thomas age 44; Lutera age 33; James E. age 17; Clarence E. age 16; Willy E. age 14; Ruby F. age 13; Lula E. age 11; Thomas H. age 4; and Ethel F. age 1.[5]
Lutera appears in the 1930 Federal census in Shelby County, Alabama in the household of her husband. Tommie's household appears as follows: T.J. age 55; Lutera age 44; Hubert age 14; Faye age 11; and J.A. Taff age 36, listed as boarder.[6]
Lutera appears in the 1940 Federal census in Shelby County, Alabama in the household of her husband. Tommie's household appears as follows: T.J. age 65;Tera age 54; and Willie Spearman age 75, listed as mother-in-law.[7]
Lutera died on the 22nd of May, 1970. Lutera was buried at the Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby, County, Alabama.
