Biography
Dorcas Spear
Her birthplace and death place called Amerikas Forenede Stater, near Baltimore, Maryland. Daughter of William Spear and Elizabeth Galbraith.[1]
The DAR acknowledges her husband's patriotic service during the American Revolution. His patriot record lists his wife Dorcas Spear and their son William who married Ann Gittings.[2]

Dorcas had at least a dozen children, so I had to add the first four. She doesn't get the war accolades, but she had such an important job. Added their marriage and restrained myself from etymology of her name. ;-)
