Biography

Garridus was born in 1804.

The 1850 US Census finds Garridus Spaulding and his wife, Mary and two of their children, Hosea and Elizabeth living in Burke, Franklin County, New York. Garridus' occuppation is listed as Railroad Foreman^[1].

In 1860, Garridus and Mary Spaulding were living with their eldest son, Horace in Prince George County, Virginia. Garridus is listed as a farmer owning real estate valued at $1,600. Horace is listed as a laborer^[2].

The 1880 US Census shows Garridus Spaulding living with his daughter,Elizabeth and her husband, Maynard Ingoldsby and their children, Mary, Zeriah, Walter and Irene in Van Buren, Onondaga County, New York. Maynard is listed as a farmer^[3].

He passed away in 1887^[4].
