Biography
Mary is the daughter of James and Mary (birth surname unknown) Southgate of Combs, Suffolk, England. Extended family emigrated together and settled in Leicester, Massachusetts by 1718.[1]
Mary was married, as his second wife, to Richard Gleason, on August 21, 1732.[2] They were both mentioned in her father James' 1762 will.[1][3]
The couple had at least six children together. Mary died sometime before Richard's third marriage in 1773.[4]
