Jane (Southall) Gillette is a part of US Black heritage.
Jane was born in 1842. She was enslaved in Albemarle County, Virginia.
Jane married Moses Gillette. In the 1870 census Jane (age 34), Farm Laborer, was in Fredericksville Parish, Albemarle, Virginia.[1]
Jane died (age 46) from apoplexy on 30 April 1888 in Albemarle, Virginia.[2]
