Lisa, my daughter-in-law is a Litton descendant, and we have found that the postings of the Lytton Study Group are very useful in tracing Lytton/Letton/Lutton/Litton Family members. They have posted 40 pages of information, which pops up by simply googling the group's name. Good hunting! Joe Boros

Hey!

I'm so excited for you being able to go and meet your birth mother! I met mine ten years ago and it was a really wonderful experience. I hope that it is for you as well :) I'd love to hear about it when you get back!

Hi!

I'm Eowyn, a WikiTree Mentor and Team Member. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person. The farther back in your tree, the more likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile. Try to add an estimated date and place of birth, at the very least, a country, for each person. This helps in searches. Last but not least, try to source each profile as you go.

We also have a naming standard here.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

Do you have any questions I can help with?

Hi Lisa,

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section,or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

Hello, I am just getting started on my family tree. I am an adoptee that has just found my birth family! I am excited to learn where my family comes from and where it originated and help any others on my journey!
