Biography
John was born in 1895. He was the son of Ben Snead and Amanda Apeha. He passed away in 1958. When John Yates Snead was born on October 6, 1895, in Choctaw, Oklahoma, his father, Benjamin, was 50 and his mother, Amanda, was 35. He married Emma Charlotte Braden, and they had two children together. He then married Georgia Ann Stephens on May 14, 1950, in De Queen, Arkansas. He died on February 11, 1958, in Sawyer, Oklahoma, at the age of 62, and was buried in Fort Towson, Oklahoma.
