Biography
Gerna Lee Smith was born on 6 September 1928 at Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma.[1][2] She appeared on the census of 17 April 1940 in the household of her parents, Eugene Wayland Smith and Justina Mae (McInnis) Smith, at Detroit, Woodward County, Oklahoma.[3]
She married Med L. Meyers on 12 October 1948 at Crawford County, Arkansas. She and Med L. Meyers were divorced in 1949. [1]
She married Walter Amos Stewart on 23 May 1950 at Raton, Colfax County, New Mexico.[1]
Gerna died on 12 June 2022 in California and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Orange County, California. Her memorial has a copy of her obituary.[2]
