Esther was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Chew) Smith. She was born in 1886 and christened the same year at All Saints' Cathedral, Bathurst, NSW.[1]
Esther was 25 years old when she married 29-year-old Ernest Wilkins Jones, the son of George Furness and Jane (Leamont) Jones, at All Saints' Cathedral, Bathurst, NSW.[2]
