Stayed in NH when 3 of her brothers left for AL. Stayed in the family home in Brentwood along with brother, Daniel and his family. Was unmarried in 1868. That year brother, Benj. Frank brought his family up from AL because of malaria epidemic. Lila, her mother & father (Asenath & Frank Smith), brothers, Howard & Algernon, went to NH. Her father, Frank, came back to work, but the rest of the family stayed for 14 months.
