Biography

In 1881 Arthur was living in Acton with his father Jesse , mother Ellen and siblings Thomas, Jessie, Sydney, Harry and Robert. He is 8 and a scholar. His father is a Police Inspector ^[1]

He married Edith Gertrude Higginson in Hendon in Q1 of 1894 ^[2]

In 1901 he was married to Edith with a son Thomas 5, daughters May aged 2 and baby Edith living in Willesden. He is a builder's labourer ^[3]

In 1911 he is living in Forest Gate with wife Edith and their family which has grown since the last census : Thomas 16, May 12, Edith 10, Jesse 8, Annie and Grace 5, and baby Violet. He is now a BUILDERS MERCHANTS WHARF FOREMAN ^[4]

He died in Q1 of 1925 his death was registered in Rochford ^[5]

He was buried in Sutton Road Cemetery, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. ^[6]
