Biography

Theodore was born in 1811. He married Susan Getchell at Kennebec County, Maine during 1834. The couple had two children: Mary Carrie, b. 1840, m1. Charles Drew, m2. John K. Tarbuck, and Charles Edward, 1843-1864 d. Spotsylvania, VA. Later, Theodore was a soldier in the US-Mexican War serving with Company D, 1st Virginia Vols. He married Parthenia Rebecca Wilson in 1848 at Richmond, Virginia. With his second wife, there were four more children, Virginia b. 1848, Ellen, b.1852, Charles David, b.1861, and Laura. He served with the Confederate 24th North Carolina Infantry and died 21 June1868.
