Biography
Alfred Pritchard Sloane Jr. was born 23 May 1875 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, United States, to Alfred Sloan and Katherine Holmes Mead 1852–1932.
Alfred married Irene Jackson (1871–1956) of Roxbury, Massachusetts on 25 September 1898.[1] The couple did not have any children.
Alfred Pritchard Sloan Jr. was an American business executive in the automotive industry. He was a long-time president, chairman and CEO of General Motors Corporation.[2]
Alfred Pritchard Sloane died 17 February 1966 in New York City, New York, and he was buried in Sec. 1 Plot 12, Memorial Cemeter of St. John's Church, Laurel Hollow, Oyster Bay, Nassau, New York.[3]
