Samuel Slight was born in 1823 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England^[1]. His parents were James Slight and Sarah Godfrey. He married Mary Ann Glanfield on January 26, 1845^[2] He died on July 08, 1893 in Essendon, Hertfordshire, England^[3][4][5]
