Hi Nicole,

I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have yet to hear back from you. I hope you are well.

If I don’t hear from you in the next week or so I’ll assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Kylie :-)

Hi,

On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions please ask. I would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project!

Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Nicole, you asked about Joseph Castle. Don't be afraid to initiate a merge. If they aren't the same person, at least others will know that it was researched.

I looked through all my sources for Sarah and she IS Joseph's daughter but her date of birth is a guess, so go ahead and change it if you want. Sue

Hi,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Welcome Victoria,

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering and sharing.

Have fun and ask for help ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist. You can also join in on the conversation about our question of the week: Going back in time: What burning question would you ask which ancestor

If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

You may want to edit your TAGS to include one surname per TAG as this will allow you to find others searching for the same surnames.

Happy Hunting,

Jess

Welcome to WikiTree, Victoria! Your initial email from us contains helpful links to get you started. Totally FREE, Wikitree is unlike any genealogy site you’ve ever used! It's different as our goal is to have one profile per person; that means we all work together in a BIG collaborative team! Once you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer, fill in your tags and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? Most important - have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest. Once you volunteer and one of our Greeters confirms you, you’ll be on your way! Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
