• Daniel was born in 1878 in Humbie, Haddingtonshire, Scotland. He was the son of Robert Sked and Catherine Lamond. ^[1]

Marriage

• Daniel was married on 10 Jun 1911, at The Manse, Polmont, Stirling, Scotland, to Agnes Somerville Gibson.^[2] At the time of his marriage Daniel was employed as a Ploughman and he resided at Craigmore, Polmont, Stirling.
