Biography

Annie (Simons) Bland is a part of US Black heritage.

Elizabeth was born about 1856.

In the 1860 census, Elizabeth was enumerated in Newtown, Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. She was living with her parents and siblings.^[1]

In the 1870 census, Elizabeth was enumerated in Newtown, Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. She was living with her parents and siblings.^[2]

In about 1873, Elizabeth married Albert Bland and they had three children. In the 1880 census, she was enumerated in Bethel, Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. She was with her husband and 3 unmarried children, George, Freddie, and Nellie. She was keeping house.^[3]

She passed away before the 1900 census, in which her husband was listed as a widower.
