Biography
- Phil was born in 1955 to Bill Simms and Barbara McConnell.
- He played college football at Morehead State University before being drafted by the New York Giants in 1979.
- Phil led the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories and was named MVP for Super Bowl XXI in 1985.
- He is currently a sportscaster for NFL games on CBS.
