Biography

Effie Minetta Silsby was born 10 March 1861 at Elba, Genesee county, New York. She was the daughter of Asaph Silsby and Abigail Clifford.

Effie married George Henry Gibson on 31 December 1879 at Little Sioux, Harrison county, Iowa.^[1] They had two daughters, Philena and Blanche.

She passed away 29 May 1913 at Little Sioux and was buried in Soldier Valley Cemetery, Pisgah, Harrison county, Iowa.^[2]
