Biography
Henry Silsbury was born and baptised on 12 August 1847 in Niton, Isle of Wight. His father was George and his mother was Harriet, the daughter of William and Hannah Denness. He married Emma Wheeler on 28 September 1872 in Whitwell, Isle of Wight. They had 12 children: Charles, Harry, Edwin, Margaret, Alice, Alfred, Agnes, Frederick, Edith, Mary, James and Etta. He died on 24 July 1915 in Ventnor, Isle of Wight.
