Biography

Maurice Silsbury, son of Charles Silsbury and Mary Ann Sheath, [1][2] was born in about February 1840 in Godshill, Isle of Wight. [3][4] He was baptised on 16 February 1840 in Godshill, Isle of Wight. [2] He married Emily Ann Moore in about May 1869 on the Isle of Wight. [5] He died in about December 1873 on the Isle of Wight. [6] He was buried on 22 December 1873. [7]

Residence
On 6 June 1841 in Godshill, Isle of Wight, with his great-grandfather James Taylor, his grandfather Richd Sheath, his uncle Chas Sheath, his parents Chas Silsbury and Mary Silsbury and his siblings Sarah Silsbury aged 11, Ann Silsbury aged 9 and Frederick Silsbury aged 6. [1]

On 30 March 1851 in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, with his father Charles Silsbury, his stepmother Maria Silsbury, his brothers Frederick Silsbury aged 14 and George Silsbury aged 2 and a visitor Ann Langford aged 43. [4]

On 2 April 1871 in Brading, Isle of Wight, with his wife Emily Ann Silsbury and his stepson James H. Silsbury aged 9. [8]
