Maj Philip Sidney was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Philip Sidney was a son of Philip Sidney, 2nd Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Mary Foulis born on the 14th of May 1853

On the 17th of February 1898, he succeeded to the titles of 3rd Baron De L'Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and 4th Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place

He served in the Rifle Brigade and reached the rank of Major

He married Hon. Elizabeth Maria Vereker, daughter of Standish Prendergast Vereker, 4th Viscount Gort and Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage, on 12 June 1902.

He died on 24 December 1922 at age 69, without issue.
