Hello,

I come from a long line of Stewart's who I beleive are from the clan Strathaven (Drumin). I am searching for information on my 4th great grandfather James Stewart b 1769 and married to my 5th great grandmother Christian Ferries, both born in Aberdeenshire and most likely Strathdon where many of my ancestors too were born...I have a tree on Ancestry, have done a Gedmath as well....It seems from my searches that I am coming up with different fathers for my James and different wives other than Christian Ferries. If anyone has ancestors that could possibly could be connected I would greatly appreciate a response. I do have different lines that do connect me further back but would be interested in finding information on Christian Ferries born 1773 in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire who both show me a direct decent if this is correct.
