Hi & thank you for joining the Virginia Project. We have two google groups - one for discussion and one for managed profiles. Send a join request if you'd like to join either or both (include your WikiTree ID, Shores-314, so we know it's you).

When you get a chance, please add your info on the Virginia Team page. If you haven't already looked it over, Virginia Project is the main project page and has lots more information.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers, Liz

Brian, that's neat that we are connected! Have you thought about changing your Privacy Level to Private with Public Family Tree so we can all see how you connect?

-Google Search: Heath DNA Study

-my search it was the 2nd family tree choice that gets to the results page, for some reason entering the website I have will not take you there directly. I include it to show you the address you are trying to get to if it helps

-Sir Robert Heath looks to be in group 6 (GR-06). My brother Ted, whose most distant ancestor is Richard Heath brother to your Levi, is in group 11 (GR-11)

-There is a paper written, that my brother gave me a copy of but I can't find it at the moment.

-Just though you might be interested.

Good Evening, Brian. I didn't see you comment until just now. I'm your elder (by one year) so you have to do what I say - LOL.

Do get your yDNA tested at Family Finder and join the Heath Project. You will either be put in the category with my brother (it'll grow from 1 to 2) or you will be matched to known Heath ancestors. I believe everyone in that project but my brother and one other man can trace their lineage.

When I saw your Levi I thought he looked familiar and I hope we are connected. My brother is in the process of moving so research isn't on his mind, but, when he gets back in the groove, I'm sure he would like to join in the discussion and share some of his discoveries.

Oh, I forgot to add that if I can help you navigate WikiTree don't hesitate to ask. I've been on here for 6 weeks and it is the same but very different from other online trees. I highly recommend that you spend time in G2G just reading what people post and the replies. You can learn so much just by 'eavesdropping' and then just reading through the help pages even if you don't think it pertains to you. Last, start posting comments and questions, it is a very friendly helpful group of people. I know the greeter already mentioned those things but it really is the best way to figure all of this out.
