Biography

My dad passed away from complications of COVID-19 with severe Pneumonia. Mom and I were there holding his hands when the time came. Shockey-96 06:59, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Obituary

William Eugene Shockey, 65, husband of 43 years to Carol (Brewer) Shockey, passed away on January 15, 2021 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA with his family by his side.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Shockey was born March 9, 1955 in Springfield Ohio to the late Harry H. And Wanda M. (Speary) Shockey.

He married the love of his life, Carol Brewer on August 27, 1977 in Pensacola, FL. Mr. Shockey was an Industrial Engineer with Motion Metalworks.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Shockey, both of Grovetown, GA; one son, David Shockey, and his sister, Bonnie Tennant, both of Harlem, GA; brother, Herb (Su) Shockey, Copperas Cove, TX; brother-in-law, Charles Collins, Pensacola, FL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sharon Collins in 2014.
