Clara (Shepperson) Mellor was born in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England.
Clara was born about 1872 in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England. She was the daughter of John Greaves Shepperson and Rebecca Pask.
The 1881 England and Wales Census shows Clara living with her parents and two siblings in Grantham Road, Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England.[1] She was nine years old.
The 1891 England and Wales Census shows Clara living in Normanton Road, Litchurch, Derbyshire, England.[2] She was 19 years old and was working as a Domestic Servant.
The 1901 England and Wales Census shows Clara living in the household of her future husband Abraham and his two children in Nelson Road, Normanton, Derbyshire, England.[3] She was 29 years old and was working as a Housekeeper Domestic.
Clara's father John passed away on 23 April 1901 in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England. He was 69 years old.
Later in 1901 Clara married Abraham Worsnop in Shardlow, Derbyshire, England.[4] Clara was a first cousin of Abraham's first wife Clara Eliza.
Clara's mother Rebecca passed away in 1909 in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England. She was 84 years old.
The 1911 England and Wales Census shows the couple and son Herbert living in Normanton, Derbyshire, England.[5] Clara was 39 years old.
Clara's husband Abraham passed away in 1915 in Derby, Derbyshire, England. He was 53 years old.
In 1918 Clara married Ernest Mellor in Shardlow, Derbyshire, England.[6]
Clara passed away in 1953 in Derby, Derbyshire, England.[7] She was 82 years old.
