This profile should be Louisa Shepherd and the error is due to a mistranscription on the 1911 census on findmypast, transcribed as Souisa rather than Louisa.

This is the profile for Louisa Shepherd.

Louisa was baptised at the age of 11 in 1852 in Mangotsfield by parents William and Sarah. [1]

In 1861 Louisa was one of 5 children living in Mangotsfield with parents William and Sarah. William was a labourer. [2]

On 31 December 1862 George Hendy and Louisa Shepherd married in Mangotsfield. George was a Coal Miner. His father Samuel was a labourer as was Louisa's father William. [3] The couple had no children.

The couple moved to Wales and in 1881 were living in Aberystruth, Monmouthshire where George was a Coal Miner. [4]

In 1911 the couple had moved to Rhondda. [5]

Louisa lived a long life and died aged 85 in 1926 in Pontypridd. [6]
