Biography

Moses Shelby Junior was born in 1761 in Frederick, Maryland, United States. He was the son of Moses Shelby and Isabelle (Alexander) Shelby. He married Elizabeth (Neel) Shelby in 1784. He passed away in 1823 in Claiborne, Mississippi, United States.

Moses Shelby, Jr. fought in the revolution and his cousins included Isaac Shelby, the first governor of Kentucky.

Three daughters of Col. Thomas Neel Junior sold 404 Acres of land in York County, in Jan 1786, to David Johnston[1]:
