C. Commissioned second lieutenant, April 3, 1863, with rank from March 18, 1863, vice A . Walker, resigned; first lieutenant, June 29, 1864, with rank from May 9, 1864, vice G. W. Hathaway, killed in action; captain, February 18, 1865, with rank from January 16, 1865, vice J . D . McBroom, discharged.^[1]
