Thomas SHAUGHNESSY

Mother - Ellen (b. DONELAN ) SHAUGHNESSY (b. circa 1847) 1 December 1927 aged 80

Father - Patrick SHAUGHNESSY (b. circa 1825 - d. 20 December 1885 )

Thomas married and raised a family while he worked as a farmer in Tynagh.

• note - Family history says he married either:

1/ Delia ( possibly Bridget ) GARVEY or

2/ Anna QUINN. One source says Anna QUINN married a cousin of these SHAGHNESSY's.

Thomas passed away in 1886 and his resting place is in the village of Tynagh. Thomas' brother Patrick, a passenger on the Titanic when it sank, is memorialised on a shared headstone. ^[2]
