Biography
James was born 13 Apr 1966. He was the son of Ed Shaughnessy and Ilene Woods.
He was killed in a car accident on 13 Apr 1984, in San Bernardino, California, just nine days after this 18th birthday. According to the California Highway Patrol, James was riding with two younger friends along National Trails Highway in the desert west of Mountain Springs were collided with another car which was driving on the wrong side of the road at nearly 80 miles an hour. Both cars burst into flames. All three boys were killed on the scene, as were an unidentified male and female in the second car.[1]
