Biography

Edgar was born in 1883. He was the son of Emanuel Sharpe and Mary Sharp.

In his World War I draft registeration card, Edgar is listed as "tall, slender build, blue eyes and brown hair." Like his brother Eusibius Sharpe, he lived in Rock Creek and was a self-employed farmer.

Edgar passed away in 1956, and was laid to rest at Mount Hermon Memorial Cemetery, near Burlington, North Carolina.
