Biography

Robert was born in 1855^[1] in Tattershall Bridge, Lincolnshire, England, and was baptised nearby in Tattershall. He was the son of Eno Sellars and Mary Johnson.^[2] The family lived in Tattershall Thorpe, where Robert's father was an agricultural labourer.^[3]

At the time of the 1871 census Robert worked as an indoor farm servant for the York family in Haltham, Lincolnshire.^[4] He lived with his parents in 1881.^[5]

In 1882 Robert married Ellen Flowers in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.^[6][7] In 1891 the family lived in Sleaford and Robert was an agricultural labourer.^[8] By 1901 they had moved to Coningsby, Lincolnshire.^[9][10]

Ellen died in 1914 at the age of 57.^[11] Robert died in 1933 at the age of 77.^[12]
