Biography
Alfred Charles was born in England on the 3rd May 1893, the son of Ernest and Mary Seaton of Ravensbourne Park, London. [1] [2] He had black hair and blue eyes.
He emigrated to New Zealand, and became a cheesemaker for the Manawatu Dairy Company Ltd.
Alfred Charles Seaton is an Anzac who served in World War One.
Minnie Ellen Jones and Alfred Charles Seaton were married on the 3rd December 1917, in the Presbyterian Church, Foxton, Manawatu, New Zealand. [3] They lived in Bainesse, Rangiatu, near Foxton in the Manawatu.
He had only been in New Zealand four years, before enlisting in Palmerston North and going overseas with the 1st Battalion, New Zealand Infantry during WW1 [4]
After the war, he became a farmer on Pike's Road, Bainesse. [5]
He passed away in Levin in 1967.
Alfred Charles Seaton is buried in Shannon Cemetery plot: L06.08 [6]
