Biography

Archibald was born in October 1890 in Fenny Stratford, the son of Joseph and Louisa.

His father was a railway worker and they moved around the area, moving to Bedford and then Linslade.

In 1914 Archibald married Alice Cooper at or near Leighton Buzzard.

He also worked on the railways and in 1924 he moved to Cambridgeshire, where he lived till his death in 1962.
