I think John Martin Scott that was born 1791 he married Anna unk one son Samuel Scott born 1823 and died 1905 Samuel married Lydia Keeton in Wayne Co Tn This John Martin was the son of James and Rebecca Scott of North Carolina.

John Martin B Scott born 1791 in Va moved to Wayne Co Tn died there in 1870 he was the son of Wm Scott and Corenna Green he married Mary Cynthia White, Anna Eliz Snapp Cynthia is living with her youngest son Frank in 1880 census she died in McNairy Co Tn and is buried there near the family of her son Franklin P Scott on Granny Scott Hollow at 48 mile Creek in Wayne Co This is said to be named after her John Martin Scott was the first child of Jame and Rebecca, they first settled in Williamson Co Tn prior to Wayne Co sometiem before 1820 He filed for Rev War Tract of 200ac his first wife Anna Elizabeth died ab 1829 November 18 1844 John Martin Scott deeds a sorrel mare to his nephew Wm P Jackson son of Nancy James Scott b 1765 NC came to Wayne Co bef 1820 settled on 48 mile Creek east of Wayne Co Tn In 1850 Rebecca is living with her Barnabus and Mary Jackson ( her daughter )

George White was a early settler in Wayne Co he had a farm a few hundred yards sw of JN Davis land. Soome of the other settlers was Coopers , Sims (Joseph ) he was the son in law of Davis also in the early settlers was a William Scott and Thomas Martin along with Lindsey , Robersons and Nowlins ,Gallaher , Parkers Dickerson , Davis, Thomapson own Martins Mills , Yates and Walkers.
