Biography

Birth and Death

Harvey was born on 24 June 1875 in Chehalis, Lewis, Washington.^[1]He was the son of Samuel Scott and Sarah Speer and he was the third of four children. He married Daisy Thomas in 1897. ^{[citation needed]} Together they had two children. He registered for the World War I draft, but was not called to serve.^[2] He was a blacksmith by trade.

Death and Burial

Harvey died on 31 Oct 1963 in Tulare, California.^[3] He was buried in Porterville Cemetery, Porterville, Tulare, California.^[4]
