Nicholas Scott is listed as one of the "first planters" in Jamestown. He is recorded as being a drummer.[1][2]
He sailed in 1606 on one of the ships of the Jamestown fleet, and arrived in May 1607 at the island that would be named Jamestown.[3]
Perhaps Nicholas was among those who constructed James Fort. We do not know. It is just as likely that he was one of the fifty settlers who died before they could acclimate to the harsh environment during the months July to September of 1607.
