Maria Elisabeth Schöler was born on 26 September 1802 in Vollerbenhof Schöler, Pye, Wallenhorst, Iburg, Osnabrück, Heiliges Römisches Reich, daughter of Joan Bernard Schöler (~1764–1830) and Maria Antonetta Brugeman (1761–1823).[1] She was baptised in the catholic church St. Alexander in Wallenhorst on 29 September 1802.[1] Her godmother was Maria Elisabeth Albers, and her baptismal witnesses were Frans Vornholt and Margaretha Elisabeth Offers.[1]
