In the 1851 census James (Jacques) Schwabacher (age 30), merchant, was the lodger of Frederick S. Lee on Christopher Street, St Luke, Middlesex, England.[1][2]
Jacques Schwabacher applied for naturalisation in 1851. He was a merchant of number 8 Broad Street Buildings in the City of London. He was a subject of the Emperor of Austria. He was 30 years old and had been a resident of the United Kingdom for the last 3 1/2 years and intended to reside permanently. He was unmarried. A certificate of naturalisation was granted 26 March 1852.[3]
Jaques was a freemason. Hisfirst payment was made 15 January 1852. He was a merchant of Fenchurch Street..[4]
Jacques (age 52), child of Simon Schwabacher & Barbette Golschmette, married Rachel Jenny Hirsch on 19 May 1873 in France.[5]

Jacques, child of Simon Schwabacher & Babette Goldschmidt, who was born in about 1821 in Orubourg (Hongria), the husband of Jenny Hirsch, died 4 February 1886 in France.[7]
