Keane, Mr .and Mrs. P. Corderoy, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schofield, Mr. and Mrs. H. Prior, and Mr. and Mrs. G. Baker, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral of their late be- loved mother and mother-in-law, Mrs. Maria Ann Brett, to move from her son James' residence 'Pictonia,' Kelso, to-morrow (Tuesday) after- noon at 2.30 o'clock for the Kelso cemetery. A large number of persons attended the funeral of the late Mrs. Maria Ann Brett, which took place on Tues day afternoon, the cortege moving from the residence of deceased's son James, at Kelso, shortly after 3 o'clock. Rev. E. Mulher officiated at the church and also at the graveside. The late Mrs. Brett was a native of England, and was only seven years old when she came to Australia with her parents. On arriving on Australian soil the family came to Bathurst to reside. That was about seventy years ago. The subject of this notice was twice married, her first husband being Mr. Schofield. There were no children by the second marriage, but the issue of the first marriage was a family of eleven. They are : Mrs. George. Schofield (New Zealand), Mrs. G. Tooby (Peel), Mr. James Schofield (Bathurst), Mrs. Walter Thorn (Lithgow), Mrs. E. Kean (Oatley), Mrs. P Corderoy (Bowenfels), Mr. Arthur Schofield (Bathurst), Mrs. H. Prior, and Mrs. G. Baker (Marrickville). There are 39 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
